Can you hear the haze
Choking—Words lose their meaning
Like dust on the wind

Don’t think about me—how we
used to be—go free
If I wanted thee
to fixate on me, don’t ye
think I’d have done more
I can’t right foresee
a future where we… connect,
as bitter as it makes me
Forget about we,
about us, about me… please
I need this to be
Is it really wrong, If it’s alright
Am I the black, in this world of white light
So sick of bulls_t, too weak to fight
So goodnight, goodnight, I guess we were right
This story’s been wrote, before our first fight
Goodnight, goodnight, I guess they were right
If left up to me, I’d hold you too tight
Your wings won’t take flight
Your songs won’t sound right
So go, as you know, what I say is what’s right
A chance or a plight
A boon or a blight
Choose well, choose now, ain’t waiting all night
And if, by somehow, that our sacred vow,
should make it through the night,
I promise thee, that you’ll always be,
the single best thing in my life—
all that I’ve ever done right
Words cut like the edge of the knife
So I’m sorry,
so sorry,
I’m sorry to see you go
But if you should stay,
there’s no other way,
that I see how our story will go -

Chimes
The chimes
(more…)
gently clang, clang, clang,
inside my mind
Feeling fine with the sublime
To be everywhere, and nowhere,
simul-time
My voice calls out, but falls short—
drowned by the hustle, the bustle,
of city lines
Where mimes reflect rhymes of our crimes
Ask them, they will tell you,
if you have the time
Fleeting focus,
lost the locus,
take a breath—smell the crocus
The flowers know us; nature too
Ask them, they will tell you,
if you have the time
